“Erotomaniac Hallucinosis” is the debut album by Homicidal Raptus. The mind behind the one-man-band is Riccardo Cantarella, an italian polistrumentist totally committed to the most brutal death metal music.
Influenced by the likes of Defeated Sanity, Devourment, Death, Suffocation and Dying Fetus, “Erotomaniac Hallucinosis” offers a balanced mix of old-school death metal with speedy riffs and some strong slamming breakdowns.
While a consistent part of the worldwide death metal underground actually focuses on slam, guttural voices and mid-tempo’s in general, Homicidal Raptus maintain a strong old-school flavor, keeping it as modern as possible at the same time, adding a bit of twisted melodies with “schizophreniac” guitar riffs. The album will be released on September 16, 2016 by Extreme Metal Music
